Far-right Israeli settlers illegally cross into Lebanon

A small group of young women associated with the Uri Tzafon Movement, a far-right settler organization, illegally crossed the border into southern Lebanon, Middle East Eye reported. The Uri Tzafon Movement advocates for Israeli settlement in southern Lebanon. Most of the group were escorted back across the border after the incursion.
The Uri Tzafon Movement has previously campaigned for expanding Israeli territorial claims into southern Lebanon. The organization recruits young activists to promote its settlement agenda in the region. The illegal border crossing represents one of several actions by the group to advance its stated territorial objectives along the Israeli-Lebanese frontier.
