The General Petroleum Authority in Gaza announced Wednesday that Israeli occupation authorities allowed the entry of extremely limited quantities of cooking gas into the sector, Shehab Wire reported. Only four gas trucks were authorized for delivery to the enclave.
The move comes as Gaza faces acute shortages of fuel and energy supplies. Cooking gas has been a critical resource for households across the territory, where alternative energy sources remain scarce. Israel maintains strict control over all materials entering Gaza through its border crossings, determining what goods and quantities reach the civilian population.
