The Palestinian Public Works and Housing Ministry said 250,000 families in Gaza require temporary housing units, or caravans, to protect women, children, and elderly people, Shehab Wire reported. The acute shortage of shelter has left vulnerable populations at risk across the territory.
The Public Works and Housing Ministry participated in a workshop organized by the Women's Affairs Ministry to address the crisis. The meeting focused on facilitating the entry of temporary shelter units into Gaza to meet the immediate housing needs of displaced residents.
