Tens of thousands of worshippers performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque despite restrictions imposed by Israeli occupation forces at military checkpoints, roads, and surrounding the Old City, Shehab Wire reported. Israeli forces maintained security measures throughout Jerusalem's streets and the perimeter of the Old City and mosque compound as prayers proceeded.
Settlers simultaneously desecrated the Bab al-Rahma cemetery, according to the report, which documented both incidents with video and photographs.
