The Palestinian General Authority for Civil Affairs received the body of slain youth Jad Allah Jihad Jumaa Jad Allah today in Tubas governorate, Shehab Wire reported. The teenager's remains had been held by Israeli occupation authorities since November 16, when he was first detained.
Staff from the civil affairs authority completed the handover at Farah camp following months in custody. The transfer marks the return of the body to Palestinian control after an extended period of Israeli detention. Officials did not immediately provide further details about the circumstances of the youth's death or the terms under which authorities agreed to release his remains.
