The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights reports that hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza remain displaced in worn-out tents and makeshift shelters following the destruction of residential neighborhoods during Israeli military operations. Repeated displacement orders have prevented residents from returning to their homes, forcing prolonged stays in inadequate temporary housing.
