Saraya al-Quds, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, said Friday that a force of "collaborationist militias" advanced at dawn toward Sharia al-Jumayza in the Qarara area north of Khan Younis, backed by Israeli drones. The group said one of its fighters was killed during an armed confrontation as the force attempted to abduct him, Shehab Wire reported.
The incident marks another clash between Palestinian armed factions operating in Gaza. Saraya al-Quds characterized the opposing force as client militias, reflecting deepening rifts among Palestinian groups. Such confrontations have intensified as various armed groups vie for control and influence across the territory amid the broader conflict.
