Security researcher Hilal Nassar told Shehab Wire that the accelerating pace of assassinations carried out by the Israeli military in Gaza represents a direct and explicit breach of ceasefire conditions and efforts to stabilize the halt in fighting. Nassar, a political writer and security analyst, said the killings undermine the testing period agreed upon by both sides and constitute an attempt to entrench chaos across the territory.
The assessment reflects deepening Palestinian concerns about Israeli compliance with the truce agreement as implementation of the fragile accord continues. The ceasefire, which followed months of intense conflict, has faced repeated allegations of violations from Palestinian officials and analysts monitoring enforcement on the ground.
