Settlers detained a group of Palestinians during a tour of the eastern section of Beita Furaik on Saturday, including the municipal council president and several members, according to Shehab Wire. Thaer Hanani, coordinator of the village's land defense committee, reported the incident. The detentions took place as the Palestinians moved through the area.

Six Palestinians were injured in the attack by the settlers. Those wounded included members of the municipal council who were present during the tour. The assault marked the latest in a pattern of settler violence targeting Palestinian communities in the West Bank.
