Dozens of settlers, led by extremist Itamar Ben-Gvir known as "Glick," stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Mughrabi Gate on Thursday morning under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces, Shehab Wire reported. The group entered the compound as Israeli troops maintained a visible security presence throughout the raid.
The Jerusalem Islamic Waqf confirmed that dozens of settlers remained inside the mosque complex during the incursion.
