The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs issued a warning over increased demolitions by Israeli occupation authorities targeting Palestinian homes and property in the Masafer Yatta area of southern West Bank, Shehab Wire reported. The office flagged a sharp rise in destructive operations across the region during recent days.
The demolitions have displaced Palestinian residents and destroyed civilian structures and possessions across the territory. The UN humanitarian coordination body raised alarm at what it characterized as an accelerating pattern of property destruction, citing mounting displacement and loss of shelter as mounting humanitarian concerns affecting vulnerable populations in the occupied West Bank.
