A war-damaged apartment building collapsed overnight in Gaza, killing at least 12 Palestinians including five children who were sheltering inside, Al-Monitor reported. Rescue workers searched through rubble Wednesday following the collapse of the structure, which had been damaged in earlier bombardment.
The dead included five minors among those trapped in the building when it gave way. Many Palestinians in Gaza have taken refuge in damaged structures as the conflict continues.
