Emergency crews rushed to excavate rubble in Gaza City on Wednesday after a building that had sustained previous Israeli strikes collapsed, killing at least 20 people, The Guardian reported. Gaza's civil defence said at least 100 people, including 50 children, were believed trapped beneath the debris.
The collapse occurred as rescue operations continued in the densely populated territory, where damaged structures pose ongoing hazards to residents.
