Mahmoud Khalil, a Columbia University graduate, filed a federal civil complaint against the institution and SIPA Dean Keren Yarhi-Milo alleging persistent discrimination against Palestinians, Drop Site News reported. The lawsuit invokes Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination based on national origin at federally funded institutions.
