Dozens of extremist settlers stormed and desecrated the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound Thursday morning under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces and armed special units, Shehab Wire reported. Israeli army personnel also participated in the incursion into the mosque's courtyards.
The breach drew calls from Palestinian activists to intensify presence at the site and counter what they described as Judaization plans targeting the sacred compound.
