Hamas condemned an Israeli military order issued Sunday expropriating more than 37 dunams of land in the Palestinian town of Bitunya, west of Ramallah, Shehab Wire reported. The Islamic Resistance Movement characterized the decision as a new crime part of what it described as a broader Judaization plan targeting Palestinian territories.
The seizure marks the latest in a series of land confiscations in the occupied West Bank. Bitunya, located near the major Palestinian city of Ramallah, has faced repeated expropriations and settlement expansion pressures in recent years. Hamas and other Palestinian factions have consistently opposed such measures, viewing them as violations of Palestinian rights and obstacles to any future peace settlement.
