Hamas official Mahmoud Murdawi said occupation prison authorities conducted a violent operation against sections of Ganot prison using riot control units, injuring multiple detainees, Shehab Wire reported. Murdawi characterized the assault as brutal and vowed it would not weaken prisoners' determination or morale.
The Hamas leader urged Palestinian factions and the international community to adopt a coordinated response in support of the affected inmates. He called for unified action to defend prisoners against what he described as ongoing mistreatment by Israeli prison administrators.
