Hamas vows Israeli demolitions won't deter Palestinian resistance

A Hamas leader said Israeli destruction of homes belonging to slain fighters and resistance members in the West Bank will not prevent Palestinians from maintaining their grip on the land or confronting occupation forces. Abdel Rahman Shadid, a Hamas official, characterized the demolition policy as part of what he called fascist occupation army tactics, Shehab Wire reported.
Shadid's statement came as Israel continues demolishing homes of Palestinians identified as militants or resistance members across the West Bank. The Hamas leader called on Palestinians to resist both Israeli military operations and settler violence in the territory.
