Israel has seized a vocational training centre operated by the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the occupied East Jerusalem area of Kalandia, UNRWA warned. The facility provided skills training and vocational education to hundreds of Palestinian young people seeking pathways into employment.
The closure leaves Palestinians without access to programmes designed to equip them with marketable skills and prepare them for the job market.
