Israeli occupation forces and settlers have cut water supplies to 47 Palestinian families in northern Jordan Valley, creating conditions that threaten imminent displacement, B'Tselem warned, the Shehab Wire reported. The families comprise more than 300 people, roughly half of them children.
The Israeli human rights organization cited the water cutoff as a primary driver of forced displacement in the region. Residents face acute hardship as access to drinking water and irrigation for livestock and crops becomes impossible without supply infrastructure. B'Tselem characterized the situation as an escalating humanitarian crisis affecting one of the West Bank's most vulnerable populations.
