Asaad Abu Salah, a child sheltering at an emergency facility adjacent to the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza, was shot and killed by an Israeli sniper during the first year of the war, Shehab Wire reported. The boy was attempting to look outside the shelter when the fatal shot struck him.
Abu Salah's family had taken refuge at the facility near the hospital as displacement and fighting swept through northern Gaza. His attempt to see conditions beyond the shelter ended in his death.
