Rescue teams recovered 55 bodies and remains of Palestinians from the Malka family beneath the rubble of a collapsed building in Gaza City's Zeytoun neighborhood, Al Jazeera reported. All casualties belonged to one household, marking one of the largest single-family death tolls documented during the ongoing conflict in the territory.
The discovery underscores the scale of destruction in residential areas across Gaza.
