Sheikh Akrameh Sabri, preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, called for Palestinians to continue visiting and maintaining a presence at the shrine, Shehab Wire reported. He emphasized that the call to travel to Al-Aqsa is eternal and binding until the Day of Judgment.
Sabri's statement comes as Palestinian religious leaders have made repeated appeals for worshippers to sustain their attendance at the contested Jerusalem holy site.
