Al-Noor Association for Persons with Disabilities has launched a project in Aida refugee camp aimed at strengthening protection, resilience and rights for marginalized women and girls with disabilities, the Palestine News Network reported. The initiative operates in cooperation with United Nations entities working across the West Bank.

The Bethlehem-based effort targets a population facing compounded barriers to safety, opportunity and dignity. Women and girls with disabilities in refugee settings experience heightened vulnerability to discrimination and exclusion from social services and advocacy programs. The project seeks to address these gaps through direct engagement with affected communities in one of the region's largest refugee camps.
