Palestinian American scholar Rashid Khalidi and Pakistani British writer Tariq Ali discussed the Israeli elections, the pro-Palestine movement, and the upcoming U.S. midterms in an interview with Democracy Now!. The analysts addressed developments in Israeli politics alongside activism around Palestinian issues.
The conversation drew on material from their new book "The Neck and the Sword," which examines intersections between Israeli politics and global movements. Both commentators offered perspectives on the state of Palestinian advocacy in the United States ahead of the midterm elections.
