Amnesty International has renewed calls for disclosure of the whereabouts of Palestinian journalists Nadal al-Wahidi and Haitham Abdel Wahab, who were detained by Israeli forces in October 2023, Shehab Wire reported. The two men have been held for nearly three years without any official account of their status or location.
The rights organization's latest demand coincides with mounting international scrutiny over detentions in the occupied territories. Amnesty has previously documented cases of Palestinians held without formal charges or access to legal proceedings. The organization continues to press Israeli authorities for transparency regarding the journalists' conditions and legal standing.
