China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi told Israeli President Isaac Herzog that Israel must stop and reverse its West Bank settlements, China's foreign ministry said Friday, according to Al-Monitor. The statement marked a direct diplomatic message on a core Palestinian grievance.
The call reflects Beijing's consistent stance against Israeli settlement expansion in occupied Palestinian territory, a persistent flashpoint in Middle East diplomacy.
