Civil defence teams in Gaza began extracting the remains of 13 Palestinians from under the rubble of a destroyed home belonging to the Gharbia family in the Katiba area west of Gaza City, Shehab Wire reported. The operation was conducted in coordination with the International Committee of the Red Crescent.
The recovery effort proceeded manually as crews worked through the debris of the residential structure. The extraction of bodies from collapsed buildings has become a routine operation for Gaza's civil defence amid the ongoing destruction across the territory.
