Gaza's professional unions warned the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) against continuing to reduce services to refugees across its five operational areas, Shehab Wire reported. The unions cited concerns over reduced working hours and threats to employee rights.
The statement represents growing pressure on the agency amid ongoing constraints on its operations in the territory. UNRWA provides humanitarian assistance and essential services to Palestinian refugees in Gaza.
