Hamas official Abdel Rahman Shadid said settler attacks on Palestinian citizens and vehicles between the villages of Al-Mughayyir and Abu Fallah northeast of Ramallah represent a new escalation, Shehab Wire reported. The incident left several Palestinians injured, according to the statement.
Shadid affirmed that such attacks would not weaken Palestinian steadfastness or commitment to resistance and holding firm positions. He characterized the violence as part of a pattern of settler aggression targeting Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank.
The Hamas leader's comments came as tensions remain high over repeated clashes between Palestinian residents and Israeli settlers in areas surrounding Ramallah. Shadid stressed that Palestinians would maintain their position and continue resisting occupation despite the mounting attacks on civilians and property.
