The Hind Rajab Foundation filed an urgent request with the US Department of Justice calling for an investigation into Israeli military commander Shawn Glass, who is currently in the United States, and demanding his arrest and prosecution, Shehab Wire reported.
The foundation's petition represents an attempt to invoke universal jurisdiction principles that allow countries to prosecute individuals for serious crimes regardless of where they were committed.
