The Islamic-Christian Committee to Support Jerusalem and Holy Sites condemned occupation authorities' decision to bar Sheikh Muhammad Hussein from Al-Aqsa Mosque for six months, Shehab Wire reported. Hussein serves as Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestinian Territories and holds the position of Muslim president within the committee, making him the highest Islamic religious authority in Jerusalem under Palestinian jurisdiction.
