Israeli occupation intelligence renewed a one-month travel ban on Jerusalem activist Hani al-Halwani on Wednesday, with provision for extension up to six months, Shehab Wire reported. The decision came as authorities continued enforcement of movement restrictions against the activist.
Al-Halwani, a Jerusalem-based organizer, had been summoned for questioning at an Israeli intelligence facility in Ramallah. The travel restriction prevents her from leaving Palestinian territories and represents an escalation in Israeli security measures against Palestinian activists engaged in resistance activities in occupied East Jerusalem.
