Israel said Monday it would resume allowing commercial goods shipments into Gaza after halting them over a tax dispute involving Hamas and merchants, according to Reuters. The stoppage had blocked a key supply route for food and other essentials to the aid-dependent territory.
The dispute centered on fees that Hamas collects from traders importing goods through the Kerem Shalom crossing, the main commercial entry point for goods into Gaza.
