Israeli prison authorities have transferred eight Palestinian security prisoners to solitary confinement following their preparation of a cake inside the facility to mark the approaching end of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir's tenure, according to Yisrael HaYom, the Maan Wire reported.
The prisoners' action was viewed as a celebration of Ben Gvir's anticipated departure from his ministerial post. Prison officials responded by isolating the detainees in individual cells as punishment for the incident.
