Israeli occupation forces demolished an inhabited Palestinian home Wednesday morning in the town of Nahalin, west of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, IMEMC News reported. Na'im Fannoun, head of the Nahalin Municipality, confirmed the demolition took place during an early morning military operation in the town.
The structure was occupied by residents at the time of its destruction. Israeli authorities have conducted repeated home demolitions in Palestinian areas throughout the West Bank. Palestinian officials and international human rights organizations have characterized such demolitions as a form of collective punishment against the Palestinian population in occupied territories.
