Walid Turkman from Jenin attended a protest backing Palestinian prisoners despite lacking transportation fare, Shehab Wire reported. Visibly exhausted and sweating heavily, Turkman walked at least two kilometers under intense heat to reach the demonstration in the West Bank city. He said he made the difficult journey to call on Palestinian authorities to secure the rights of imprisoned Palestinians.

When asked about traveling without a vehicle, Turkman explained his financial constraints simply: "I have no car fare." His attendance underscored the commitment of Palestinians from outlying towns to participate in solidarity actions despite personal hardship and the harsh conditions of the day.
