The Union of Institutions Working for Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque warned of escalating expulsion policies targeting the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City in Jerusalem, Shehab Wire reported. The union said expulsion orders have exceeded 1,000 since the start of the current year.
The union characterized the spike as part of a systematic policy of exclusion from the holy site and the historic district.
