Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told US President Donald Trump in a phone call that "we have a job to finish," according to Middle East Eye. "Donald, we will finish it together," Netanyahu said, following Trump's public endorsement of continued Israeli military operations.
The remarks come as the Trump administration signals support for Israel's ongoing military campaign in the Gaza Strip. Netanyahu's comments suggest coordination between the Israeli government and the new US administration on the scope and duration of military operations.
