Trees across the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque are withering and falling, Shehab Wire reported, after Israeli occupation authorities prevented Islamic Waqf officials from tending to the vegetation. The trees have suffered drought and desiccation due to restrictions on their care, trimming, and watering.
The deterioration marks another instance of constraints on management of the sacred site's grounds under occupation control.
