The Palestinian Meteorological Department issued a heat alert for Saturday, forecasting hot conditions in mountainous regions and extreme heat across the rest of the territory, the Shehab Wire reported. Temperatures are expected to climb slightly above their annual seasonal average by approximately two degrees Celsius.
The meteorological authority cautioned the public against extended exposure to direct sunlight during the period of elevated heat. Officials advised residents to take precautions and limit outdoor activities during peak temperature hours to avoid heat-related health risks.
