Dozens of settlers assaulted Palestinian farmers in the Wadi Asira area near the town of Imateen, the Ma'an news agency reported. The attackers violently beat the farmers in their fields, according to Ma'an, attempting to force them to leave and prevent them from harvesting olives.
The incident represents the latest in a pattern of settler violence targeting Palestinian agricultural activity in the occupied West Bank.
