US President Donald Trump endorsed Benjamin Netanyahu for the upcoming Israeli parliamentary election, Al-Monitor reported. Trump, who has cultivated a close relationship with the Israeli prime minister, made the endorsement on Sunday.
The move aligns with Trump's pattern of backing allied leaders in foreign electoral contests. Netanyahu faces voters in the coming parliamentary poll, where his political future remains contested.
