Bookstores across the United Kingdom have removed novels by Irish author Sally Rooney from shelves following her public support for Palestine Action, Al Jazeera English reported. The author had endorsed the activist group, which has staged disruptive protests at arms manufacturers and weapons exporters.
The removals sparked debate among students, whose views on the decision ranged across support and opposition to the bookstore actions.
