The World Food Programme has announced it will suspend food assistance in Gaza due to insufficient funding, the organization said. The suspension will worsen an already severe hunger crisis affecting the territory's population.
WFP officials cited a lack of resources as the reason for halting operations that have provided critical nutritional support to vulnerable Palestinians. The cuts come as Gaza faces mounting food insecurity amid the ongoing conflict.
