Israeli far-right politician Itamar Ben-Gvir appears poised for electoral gains as young voters shift toward his political positions, Al-Monitor reported. Ben-Gvir has made inflammatory statements, including celebrating his 50th birthday with a cake decorated with a noose and stating plans to surround jailed Palestinians with crocodiles.
The shift reflects broader political movement among younger Israeli voters toward more hardline positions on Palestinian affairs and security matters.
