The Gaza civil defense spokesman said recovery operations face enormous difficulties, Shehab Wire reported. Mahmoud Bassal said rescue teams have been unable to find any signs or traces during their search for bodies buried beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings.
The spokesman did not elaborate on the specific obstacles hampering the search efforts or provide further detail on the scale of bodies believed to remain under the debris across the territory.
