Ahmad al-Najjar, director general of public relations and media at Gaza's education ministry, said the ministry has resumed in-person teaching in an exceptionally challenging school environment after three years of what he described as ongoing genocide war on the territory, Shehab Wire reported.
The resumption serves half a million students across Gaza. Al-Najjar said the ministry's mission centers on protecting children's right to education amid the extraordinary circumstances facing schools in the enclave.
