Shehab Wire (EN) reported that the Gaza government media office said Palestinian children have borne the heaviest toll in the ongoing Israeli war on the enclave. Hospitals have received 21,976 child casualties, the office stated.
The claim forms part of a broader Palestinian assertion that systematic war crimes are occurring in Gaza, according to the government media office's framing of child mortality data from the conflict.
