Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto chanted "Free Palestine" while wearing a keffiyeh at a centenary celebration for the Pesantren Darussalam Gontor Islamic institute in Ponorogo, East Java, Shehab Wire reported. The remarks came Saturday during the event marking 100 years since the school's founding.
The president made the statement before thousands of attendees at the official ceremony in the eastern Indonesian province.
